The US region is the one thing to think about
Incognet publishes Icelandic and United States locations. The Icelandic side is outside US reach; the US side is not, and no policy changes that. It is a perfectly reasonable product for most content and a poor one for content that attracts complaints.
Every region on this estate is outside United States jurisdiction, and each is held by a separate company. That is the claim, and the entity list is where you check it.
Where we are honestly similar
On the questions that matter most to a privacy-minded buyer — no documents, real crypto, Monero accepted, prices on the page — there is very little between us, and the table says so. It would be easy to manufacture a difference here and it would be obvious.
The real difference is the published layer: a canary on a schedule, a transparency report with figures, a retention number in hours, an SLA that credits itself. Those are things a larger operation can afford to maintain, and they are the reason to pay more.
Questions people actually ask
Is a bigger host better for privacy?
Not inherently, and often the opposite. What scale buys is the ability to maintain documents that cost real work — a quarterly report is only useful if it appears every quarter, including the dull ones.
Do you take Monero?
Yes, and it is one of eight assets on the payments page. It is also the only one of them that is private by default, and we say so rather than listing it among the others as though they were equivalent.
Buy theirs instead if
- You want a small operation you can talk to, and that is worth more to you than a published record.
- Iceland plus a US option is the right shape and the US side does not worry you.
- One or two virtual machines is the whole requirement and always will be.
That list is here because a comparison that cannot name a reason to buy the other one is an advertisement. If any of those three is you, they are the better buy and this page has done its job.
