The base chassis is a 1U with a single-socket EPYC 9124, 64 GB of DDR5 ECC, a gigabit port and a /29 — $89 a month in any of the eight regions, with no drive in it until you add one. Prices hold barring a component shortage, which we tell you about before taking money rather than after. One thing worth saying plainly: a machine assembled to order costs slightly more than the equivalent on the dedicated-server list, because stock is already racked and burned in. If a listed build fits, buy that one instead.

Racked and handed over
One to three business days for parts we hold, five to ten if something has to be ordered in. Handover comes with IPMI credentials on the same terms as everything else.
What a bespoke machine normally costs you
Beyond the hardware, custom builds carry three standing conditions almost everywhere. They exist to protect the seller, and we decided to carry that risk ourselves instead.
The three usual conditions
Built to order, sold like stock.
A machine assembled for one customer is hard to resell, so the industry answer is a build fee, a twelve-month commitment and a fortnight of waiting. All three are reasonable, and all three make you pay for our inventory risk before you know whether the thing works. We hold that risk: cancel a custom build in its second month and you will have paid for two months.

Is there a setup fee or a minimum term?
Neither, and that is unusual enough to be the reason this page exists. Custom hardware normally carries a one-time build charge and a twelve-month commitment, because the seller is carrying parts they cannot resell quickly. We take that risk instead: cancel a custom machine in month two and you have paid for two months.
Is the sheet the actual price, or an estimate?
The actual price. Configure a machine and the total you see is what you pay, barring a component shortage we tell you about before taking money rather than after. Every priced line is also at least 20 per cent under the only competitor that publishes a component list at all, and most sit 40 to 55 per cent under it.
Is a custom build cheaper than a stock one?
No, and we would rather say so. A machine assembled to order costs a little more than the equivalent on the dedicated-server list, because stock is already racked, burned in and resellable if you leave. If a listed build fits your workload, buy that one. This sheet is for the machines that are not on it.
Can I supply my own parts?
Yes. Ship drives, cards or a whole chassis and we rack it under the colocation terms instead, which is usually cheaper if you already own the hardware. Mixed arrangements are fine too — our chassis, your accelerators.
What if I need something not on the sheet?
Ask. The sheet covers what we stock; ARM hosts, high-clock gaming builds, capture and FPGA cards, tape libraries and 100 Gbit optics have all been built before. Anything we have to source is quoted at cost plus a margin we state in writing.
Do you build for colocation customers too?
Regularly. We source, assemble, burn in and rack the machine, then hand you the keys and bill only the colocation. It removes the part of colocation people dislike most, which is arranging a courier to a building they have never visited.
Who owns the hardware?
We do, on a rental. That is what keeps the monthly price low and lets you leave in thirty days. If you would rather own it outright we will sell you the machine at cost plus margin and rack it under colocation — say so at the quote stage and the numbers change accordingly.
