Loss in the middle is noise
Routers rate-limit their own ICMP replies, so a hop showing 40 % loss with clean hops after it is doing its job, not failing. Only loss that continues to the last hop is loss.

Latency only goes up
A middle hop slower than the destination is a control-plane artefact. Read the last line, and read the worst of twenty rather than the best of three.

Test from where you are
Not from a datacentre near us, and not from a speed-test page. If your visitors are on mobile networks in one country, that is the measurement that decides your region.
