Two countries, and what holds them

Romania and the Netherlands are both outside US copyright law, and they behave quite differently under European process — the Dutch notice-and-action practice is far more developed. A host in both is not twice as resistant; it is resistant in two different ways.

What we could not find published is which company holds which estate, and that is the row that decides what a ruling reaches. Ours is published per region.

This estate asks for an address and a password and nothing else, ever, at any spend level. Where an offshore host’s policy is not stated in those terms, the cheap test is to begin an order and see what the form asks for before paying.

Mitigation, and when it is on

Filtering sold as an add-on is filtering that is off when an attack starts, because an attack does not wait for an upgrade. Here it is on at every edge, on every product, at no extra charge.

Questions people actually ask

Are they DMCA-ignored?

Romanian and Dutch companies are not subject to 17 U.S.C. §512, so a US notice arrives as correspondence. That is true of both of us. What differs is what happens when the complaint is not American, which is what the no-DMCA policy sets out.

Do you have Romanian capacity?

Not currently. The eight regions are listed with the entity behind each, and we would rather name the eight than imply more.

Buy theirs instead if

Romanian capacity at a keen price is the requirement and the process rows do not concern you.
You want a wide catalogue from a single offshore supplier and are happy to ask about the rest.
You have already dealt with them and the relationship works.
