Content policy

A takedown demand is a claim. Only a court makes it an order.

  1. The DMCA has no force here

Title 17 §512 is United States law. Our companies, cabinets and carriers sit outside its reach, so a takedown notice arriving by email is correspondence — not an instruction. We file it, we answer it, and nothing is removed on its authority alone.

  2. A competent court, or nothing

Content is removed when an order issues from a court with actual jurisdiction over the hosting entity. Foreign judgments are not self-executing; they must be recognised locally first. We do not treat a lawyer's letterhead as a substitute for a judge.

  3. You hear from us before anyone else

Except where an order expressly forbids it, you receive the complaint in full, with the complainant named, and fourteen days to respond or migrate. We do not suspend first and explain later.

  4. Nothing retained means nothing to surrender

No identity documents, no payment trail beyond an on-chain transaction you chose to make, no access logs past 24 hours, no IP history. A request for records we never created is answered on its merits: there is nothing to produce.

The five things we act on without a court

Privacy is not a shield for these. Confirmed cases are terminated without notice or refund. The list is exhaustive, and it does not grow quietly.

  • Child sexual abuse material
  • Malware, botnets and C2 infrastructure
  • Phishing and credential harvesting
  • Unsolicited bulk email
  • Attacks originating from our network

Network

Eight jurisdictions, chosen for their law as much as their latency.

Every region is a separate legal entity in a separate country. A complaint that succeeds in one has no automatic effect in the others, and moving between them is a single API call.

Settlement

Cryptocurrency only. Not “also” — only.

We hold no merchant account and process no cards. There is no acquirer to lean on and no processor whose content policy quietly becomes ours. Monero is a first-class option, at the same rate as everything else.

  1. 01

    Choose and configure

No account is needed to price a build. The only signup field is an email address that receives mail.

  2. 02

    Send the exact amount

A fresh address per invoice, never reused. The rate holds for thirty minutes; underpayments credit your balance.

  3. 03

    Root on first confirmation

Provisioning starts at the first network confirmation — usually answering SSH before the second one lands.

Answered plainly.

Do you require identity verification?

No. An email address that receives mail is the only account requirement, and a throwaway address is acceptable. We ask for no name, no address, no document and no telephone number, at signup or afterwards.

Why is cryptocurrency the only payment method?

Card networks impose the very disclosure regime we exist to avoid: chargeback arbitration, merchant KYC, and acquirer-driven content policies. Settling on-chain removes an intermediary that could be pressured into acting against you.

How quickly is a server available?

Virtual instances are live once the transaction reaches its first confirmation — typically under two minutes, with a median build time of 55 seconds after that. Bare metal from stock ships in two to six hours; custom builds in one to three business days.

What happens when someone files an abuse complaint?

It is read by an engineer, not a queue robot. Complaints alleging the conduct listed in our acceptable use policy are investigated immediately. Everything else is forwarded to you in full, with fourteen days to answer before any further step is considered.

Can I move a server between jurisdictions?

Yes. Virtual instances migrate between any two of our eight regions with a single API call and no change in price. Bare metal migrations are arranged with the network team and typically complete inside a maintenance window.

Do you keep backups of my data?

Only where you enable them. Snapshots are opt-in, encrypted with a key we do not hold, and stored in a jurisdiction you nominate. Disabling backups means no copy of your data exists on our estate outside your running volume.

Is there a refund policy?

Virtual instances and GPU nodes carry a 72-hour refund window, settled in the asset you paid with. Bare metal is refundable pro rata within the first seven days where the hardware is returned to stock condition.

How do I reach an engineer?

Through the client area, by encrypted mail to our published PGP key, or over XMPP with OMEMO. Tickets are answered around the clock by in-house staff; nothing is outsourced to a third-party support vendor.
