A Dutch company is not subject to 17 U.S.C. §512, so a US takedown notice arrives as correspondence rather than as an obligation. That part is true and AbeloHost says it accurately.
What a Dutch company is subject to is Dutch and EU process, and the Netherlands has an active notice-and-action regime of its own along with a well-developed practice of addressing hosting providers directly. “Ignores the DMCA” and “is hard to compel” are not the same sentence. The structural difference is the same one that runs through this whole section. A single Dutch entity holding every server means one court reaches all of them.
Eight entities mean a complainant who wins in the Netherlands has won in the Netherlands. The entity list is published, with each company’s country of registration, so this is a claim you can check rather than a marketing line about being spread across the world.
