PRQ, comparedPRQ wrote the playbook. It also publishes almost nothing.

PRQ’s reputation was earned in court and by not moving, and no comparison table captures that. It is also, deliberately, close to opaque: little is on the website, and the relationship starts with an email. For some buyers that is exactly right.

What they are genuinely good at

  • A history of holding a line under pressure that nothing on this page competes with.
  • Swedish jurisdiction and an operator with a very long memory of how these fights go.
  • Deliberate opacity, which for a certain kind of customer is a feature and not a gap.

What we publish that most do not

  • Every price, including bare metal, GPU by the second and colocation.
  • A signed warrant canary, a quarterly transparency report and the inventory of records that exist.
  • Mitigation on before an attack starts, and an SLA that credits itself from the incident record.

Opacity cuts both ways

A host that publishes nothing gives a complainant nothing to work with, and there is a real argument for that. It also gives you nothing to work with: no retention figure, no record of what has been demanded, no SLA, and no way to know what changed since the last person wrote about them.

This estate took the opposite bet. Everything that can be published is: what records exist, for how long, what has been asked for and a signed statement that nothing secret has arrived. The bet is that a buyer would rather verify than trust.

Buying, and how long it takes

PRQ is a conversation. That suits a large, unusual project and is friction for everything else.

Here, the configurator prices a build without an account and a virtual machine is live in about fifty-five seconds. Neither is better in the abstract. One of them is better at four in the morning.

Questions people actually ask

Does the reputation matter more than the paperwork?

Sometimes, genuinely. A record of behaviour under pressure is evidence, and this estate has less of it than PRQ does. What it has instead is a published process you can read today rather than a history you have to research.

Why publish a canary at all?

Because the alternative is asking to be believed. A signed statement with a recent Bitcoin block hash in it proves it was written after that block existed, which is the only part of a canary that does any work.

Buy theirs instead if

  • The track record is the product, and you are buying the operator rather than the estate.
  • You would rather deal with a person by email than with a configurator.
  • You actively prefer a supplier that publishes nothing about you because it publishes nothing at all.

That list is here because a comparison that cannot name a reason to buy the other one is an advertisement. If any of those three is you, they are the better buy and this page has done its job.
