Privex, comparedThe same instinct, a smaller estate, less on the record.

Privex takes privacy seriously and takes crypto natively, which is more than most of this market manages. The differences are the size of the catalogue and how much is written down where a buyer can read it.

What they are genuinely good at

  • Crypto-native from the beginning rather than bolted on to a card-first business.
  • A clear privacy position and signup that asks for very little.
  • European locations with sensible connectivity for European traffic.

What we publish that most do not

  • Every price, including bare metal, GPU by the second and colocation.
  • A signed warrant canary, a quarterly transparency report and the inventory of records that exist.
  • Mitigation on before an attack starts, and an SLA that credits itself from the incident record.

Two European locations, one company

Sweden and the Netherlands are both good places to serve European traffic from, and both are outside the reach of a US notice. Held by one company, they are reachable by one court.

That is the structural difference this whole section keeps returning to, and it is the one thing about this estate that is genuinely hard to copy: eight companies, one per jurisdiction, each on its own country’s register.

Growing out of a virtual machine

If a project needs bare metal, a GPU by the hour, a private cloud or a rack, a small VPS catalogue means changing supplier, and changing supplier means a migration and a second policy to read.

The whole catalogue here is on one page and it all sits on one account, one balance and one acceptable use policy.

Questions people actually ask

Is a small host worse?

No. It is usually more responsive and often more principled. What it cannot easily carry is a published record that has to be maintained every quarter, and eight legal entities that have to be filed for.

Can I test before moving?

Yes. Every price is published, a virtual machine is live in about fifty-five seconds, and there is a 72-hour refund if it is not what you wanted.

Buy theirs instead if

  • A virtual machine in Europe paid in crypto is the requirement, complete.
  • You prefer a small operator and will accept less documentation for it.
  • The specific assets they accept suit how you hold value.

That list is here because a comparison that cannot name a reason to buy the other one is an advertisement. If any of those three is you, they are the better buy and this page has done its job.
