American capacity is American jurisdiction

Most RackNerd locations are in the United States, and a US-based provider is bound by 17 U.S.C. §512 whatever its abuse policy says. For ordinary content that is irrelevant; for content that draws complaints it is the only row that matters.

Every region on this estate is outside United States jurisdiction, and each has its own company behind it.

Promotional pricing and what it funds

A very low headline price funds a very low cost base, which is a legitimate way to run a business and worth understanding. It does not fund a signed canary, a quarterly transparency report, eight legal entities or mitigation included on every product. Those are what the difference here pays for.

Questions people actually ask

Do they take crypto?

Cryptocurrency is accepted, which is why that row reads yes. The jurisdiction rows are the ones that differ, and a payment method does not move a server.

Is there a cheap plan here?

There is an entry virtual machine on the price list, and it is not the cheapest in the market. We would rather say that than compete on a number we do not win.

Buy theirs instead if
