Contabo, comparedMore gigabytes per euro than anyone. That is the whole pitch, and it is true.

Contabo sells resources: large amounts of RAM and disk for very little money. On that number nothing here competes and this page will not pretend to.

What they are genuinely good at

  • Resource per euro, particularly RAM and disk, which very little in the market approaches.
  • A simple catalogue that is easy to reason about, without a pricing matrix to decode.
  • German engineering standards at a price that looks like a mistake.

What we publish that most do not

  • Every price, including bare metal, GPU by the second and colocation.
  • A signed warrant canary, a quarterly transparency report and the inventory of records that exist.
  • Mitigation on before an attack starts, and an SLA that credits itself from the incident record.

What the price does not include

Buying on the specification sheet works until something goes wrong. What is not in that number is an SLA that credits itself, mitigation already on, or a published per-region uptime record. Here those are published and measured.

Germany, identity, and cards

A German company verifies its customers and answers German process. If your reason for looking is that you cannot or would rather not be an identified customer, that is the row that decides it, and no amount of RAM changes it.

Here it is an address and a password, eight crypto assets and nothing else, and eight jurisdictions outside United States reach with a separate company behind each.

When to buy theirs

If the job is a big database on a budget and nobody will ever complain about it, buy the cheap large machine. This estate is worth the difference when the jurisdiction, the anonymity or the takedown process is the actual product.

Questions people actually ask

Are you cheaper per gigabyte?

No. Every price is published, so the comparison takes a minute and we would rather you did it than took our word.

Is oversubscription a real risk?

It is the ordinary trade at that price point across the whole industry. What we can state is what is sold here: NVMe RAID-10, unmetered ports at the published speed, and no per-gigabyte fee.

Buy theirs instead if

  • You need a lot of RAM or disk cheaply and the content is ordinary.
  • The workload tolerates shared resources and you are buying on the specification sheet.
  • An identified German customer relationship is fine.

That list is here because a comparison that cannot name a reason to buy the other one is an advertisement. If any of those three is you, they are the better buy and this page has done its job.
